Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The Professor, Bob Kerr, challenged his students to look at history from a different angle, which caused us to think more critically, and understand just how important it is to study the past with a newfound passion.

    Course highlights:

My favorite lesson was on the Hegemonic power, that in a sense, is the care taker and peace maker of all other nations. It was interesting to see this from the perspective of Great Britain in the eras before World War I and see the decline and transfer of power to the United States after the victories of World War II. This showed me a new perspective of the United States, and helped me to understand why some of the political decisions we make need to be geared toward our status as the Hegemonic power in order to keep this status.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind, and always attend the lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much in this class, it's very straightforward, and prof. Williams knows what he is doing! There is also never really any homework.

    Course highlights:

It is American history starting from Meso-America all the way through the Civil War. You learn mainly about the wars, but also a lot how the rich, poor, and middle class man lived too!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and write down what is bolded on the slides! You will need to write a lot, your hand should cramp by the end of class, but it's so worth it. The material is very interesting, and you'll learn a lot! You have to pay attention constantly and not let your mind wander, or you'll get lost. The tests are somewhat difficult, but prof. Williams walks you through them pretty well!
