Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it really improved my writing skills. Many students probably would not be interested in a course where you just write essays, however being able to write a great essay is a tool everyone needs to learn. My instructor taught me how to perfect my thesis, write concisely, and make a paper something people want to read.

    Course highlights:

As previously stated, I learned how to write a great thesis, write concisely, and write every essay to grab a reader's attention. Not only did I learn about writing, but I also learned a lot through the research conducted while writing each paper. This course greatly improved my ability to write an essay.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice about this course is take it! You will not regret it. The course is challenging and even frustrating at times, but it will pay off. And, also start your essays early. Write your essay, ask questions, and revise your essay. Your essay can never be revised enough.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking this English course because of the way the class was set up and what was learned. The information presented by the instructor was in a very orderly manner and was very easy to interpret. I never had a major problem of knowing what I was supposed to do or what assignment was due when. In this class, we also did fun activities and assignments that applied what we were learning. This is the most fun and easy way to learn new material. The way the class was taught was very effective.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was how to write extremely good papers. The professor edited our papers and told us why it was wrong. This really helped me gain knowledge in this class because I could sit down and see why she had made a change, which then allowed me to write an even better paper the next time. Revision was a big thing in this class and it really benefited me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, students will need to be open minded, like constructive criticism, want to learn and have an easy going personality. It takes a very hard worker to write a good paper and pride is something the student will need to pass this class. Slackers will not excel in this class, and if a student does choose to slack, it is very noticeable to fellow classmates and even to the instructor.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Clements is an excellent teacher. She is really active within the class, even the online ones, and is able to offer one-on-one advice when needed. She delivers the material in an easy to swallow format and provides interesting topics to study.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are varied, from the more generic critical thinking skills to debating, the course offers several challenging, yet interesting, topics to discuss and study over as well as freedom to choose what you wish to learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students contemplating taking this course is to be prepared and always look for more. There are so many different topics out there to choose from and endless amounts of information for each individual one. Always cross check and cross reference your work, be sure to include your works cited, and if your not sure then triple check again.
