    Course Overview:

    The course is comprehensive and uses various types of teaching and knowledge impacting methods. The student enjoys the practical illustrations and examples used in systems such as Learn smart by Mc Grawhill, panopto videos, Powerpoint presentation and quizzes among others.

    Course highlights:

    One is guaranteed to learn different marketing concepts and terminologies applied or can apply such as the marketing principles, tactics, and strategies for business and non-business situations. The student will also be equipped with the knowledge to notice and analyze marketing concepts from perspectives including markets, the society, and consumers. This aims to enhance the development of a good foundation for studying further in marketing and other business related fields. Other highlights include the identification of the target markets for product and services in an organisation. These are the ones that help create values for the customers through effective products and services, communication, pricing, and distribution strategies to satisfy the customer needs The course is also writing intensive and requires writing a marketing plan, assignments to improve writing skills, verbal presentations, and analytical thinking skills.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Attempt the compulsory, some graded, others non-graded assignments from various resources such as learn-smart and panopto on time. this will allow ample study time. The quizzes are timed so there is need to prepare adequately. Read the ppt presentations widely.
