Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hwang keeps the class interesting by adding her own stories and life examples to the theories and concepts presented in this class. Her stories are funny and intriguing. Her assignments are though provoking and you learn a lot of about yourself through them.

    Course highlights:

Social Psych is interesting in itself but I learned a lot during the conformity chapters. It was interesting to see why humans conform and the studies that were done. I learned also that evolutionary psychology is prominent is social psychology. There are so many theories and concepts you will learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to pass this class with an A, you need to take time to truly learn and understand the concepts and theories taught. The exam questions are thought provoking and provide examples instead of definitions. The assignments are limited as there are only a few tests and papers. Read your book and research other studies that have been done on the theories you will learn. It is all very interesting if you truly immerse yourself in what social psychology has to offer
