Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was the class that first awoke my passion for anthropology. The teacher was astounding and the material was so fascinating that I would easily take this course again. The way that we were taught was thorough and comprehensive, reflected the tests and was overall my absolute favorite course so far!
I learned the details of human evolution and the character traits of our ancestors. I was interested specifically in the transition from arboreal to bipedalism, and the taxonomy of the fossils found. I also discovered Homo neandethalensis to be my favorite of our recent ancestors, and was shocked by the progress they had accomplished, such as decorative paint, bone needles and jewelry.

Advice for students:
Take very detailed notes! This was a lifesaver! Making sure you're taking good notes is also a way to absorb and pay attention to the knowledge being given for you. I think that adding sketches is optional, but also worked very well for me, as a visual learner.
