    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required course for the degree, but I wasn't a huge fan of it. Maybe it was just the professor I had, but class consisted of mainly lectures with little real-world application. Now I understand that's something to expect of college courses, but still, we could have done more like programming assignments in C to actually learn more about operating systems.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot of vocab and gained a better understanding of how operating systems work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to get good grades in this class, do your studying and reading. And also pay attention to the lectures. The tests will be pretty much all concepts right from the book, so it'd be a good idea to make sure you understand everything.
