Course Overview:
With only having two tests as your entire grade, Dr. Pruitt will definitely make you work for an A. Pruitt is a fantastic teacher that is very skilled at class engagement. Dr. Pruitt made a relatively uninteresting course very appealing and "cool". Out of the entire finance department, Dr. Pruitt is hands down the best teacher to take a finance course from.
Course highlights:

In class we worked on multi step equations, which included using MACRS based depreciation to calculate the Net Present Value of a Company's investment into new production tactics. Other topics that we learned to calculate were the Equivalent Annual Annuity of a project, the Modified Internal Rate of Return, the Payback as well as Discounted Payback of a project, the EAR.
