    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very large course load, but since I took it in the summer, I thought it was manageable as my only class.

    Course highlights:

Best part was being able to understand complex material that you never thought you could master.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be certain to always review the material before class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very academically stimulating class that demands high thinking

    Course highlights:

This class was essentially an introductory level college biology class on steroids. You may have learned in the past what happens, but this course really delves into the why and how and what ifs the basic level courses often omit

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

After each lecture go over the information to see what makes sense and what doesn't. Actively listen in your classes to ask questions over the material you know won't make sense unless you have a teacher's input. Lastly, meet with your teachers. They are your best friends and worst enemies. To put it bluntly, they don't really care if you fail. It does not hurt them in anyway to have you fail a class. But on the opposite spectrum, they will do any thing in their power to make sure it does not happen. Meet with them, because you'll often get greater insight into material you think you already understand pretty well.
