This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course prepares you for more advanced math courses such as calculus.
Course highlights:
I learned how to think outside the box.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
Do it. But be proactive in taking steps towards learning the material.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
This was my favorite class last semester even though math is not my favorite subject. The professor was super nice and really wanted to see his students succeed in his course. He made things interesting and explained it in a way that was easily understood, but was always able to explain in a different way if someone didn't understand it the first time.
Course highlights:
In this class I became more confident in my math skills. I've always been pretty average in math classes, but this class was different - I ended up with an A!
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Don't put homework off until the last minute - you will need to ask for help and doing it at midnight the night before it's due won't do you any favors.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Wasn't able to understand the professor very well, it was their first time teaching the course and they were trying to learn it while teaching.
Course highlights:
The highlights were I learned how to solve using he Pythagorean theorem, other than that there were none.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Take at advantage of the math and science tutors during this course, because this is what helped me complete my homework.
