    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class has a bad reputation for being hard if not impossible. While accounting 310 is not easy and is the gatekeeper for the accounting program it is not impossible. The keys to passing this class are to not skip class and stay on top of the homework and financial statement projects. The financial statement projects will take a fair amount of time and get more complicated later in the semester.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class for me was the financial statement projects. The projects are not easy and are time-consuming. However, the projects are very helpful for applying what you have learned and fully grasping the concepts. The things that I learned that stick out to me the most are understanding cash flows and taxes. Taxes, tax timing and differences schedule M-1.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is not impossible but it is hard and will require a lot of work. Be prepared to learn this material because you will be expected to gain a deep understanding of this subject. If you show up and stay up on the homework and videos this class is doable.
