Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Brian Hare was one of the best teachers I've had at this school. He is always willing to help and if he doesn't know the answer to a question, he will sit with you and you'll both learn it together. Do NOT be afraid to raise your hand in his class, you're learning some challenging stuff, and he has all the resources to help you.

    Course highlights:

The class itself was always engaging. It never felt like he was just talking at you, but instead you were all experiencing a new language together. Python is an interesting language, but one that is pretty approachable for beginners, and with Hare to help guide you, you shouldn't worry as long as you're willing to put in the effort.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely do the work when you get it. This is a class where you need practice and practical examples in order to understand what's going on. The algorithms are weird to wrap your head around first, but laying out step by step what you're trying to do is invaluable and mastering it will help you in later classes.
