    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is great and easy to follow. She is clear in class and while the pace is fast the lectures are recorded so if you miss anything you can always go back to review the material.

    Course highlights:

While considered a weed out course for premeds, it is a good base for general chemistry knowledge and will give you a good feel for how large classes as WU go. Work together with classmates and attend all the review sessions offered. They give plenty of help if you're willing to accept it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay in class after the quiz- they'll teach you the information that will be on the next quiz.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love love love the professor but the content is extremely rigorous. Be prepared to struggle and be ready to study hard. I have never taken a chemistry course before this class so I was prepared to be confused, however at this point, the class is very physics based--I have also never taken a physics course before.

    Course highlights:

So far I love the professor and how he keeps the entire class entertained. It is virtually impossible to fall asleep during lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ok with failing on the first exam and not understanding material all the time but also be prepared to work so you can master the materials.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although most people will take it (at least those in premed their freshman year), it really is a fun class, and I thoroughly enjoyed the professor, Dr. Loomis

    Course highlights:

Loomis is really the best professor I've had yet. Also, this course is less on traditionally chemistry, so you will learn something new all the time

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every lecture, stay for recitation, do all problem sets and book work (tests will look like the book work)
