    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Thornton is completely useless. His lectures are incoherent and unhelpful. Don't bother going to class if you have him. I was able to teach myself everything and manage to get an A.

    Course highlights:

I did not gain much, but it is required for my major.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Discussion sections and Webwork are essential. Textbook problems are also sometimes helpful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a challenging course, but it was also very rewarding. Doing well required a lot of energy and effort outside the classroom but mastering the subject material was realistically attainable with a sufficient amount of hard work.

    Course highlights:

I have always enjoyed math classes, but this was by far the most challenging one I have taken so far. I learned how to work hard and also properly and appropriately collaborate with my peers in order to achieve as much as possible.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the material even if there isn't an exam or quiz coming up soon. Any practice that you do during the semester pays off in the end and will benefit you on assessments throughout the class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not take this course if it is not a requirement or unless you have a passion for math. Beheshti is a great professor who puts the material into words students can understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned advanced forms of integration as well as useful applications.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip recitation. Just going can help jog your memory.
