    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Public speaking could be a very hard class for many. But Ms.Chandler is a great teacher who cares about her students and makes the speeches more approachable and less terrifying.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much from this course. The instructor really cares about you and helps you be comfortable while doing speeches. Gives great pointers on how to conduct a speech.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do your work!! Read your book before doing online quizzes. Take quizzes in groups.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class had a better organizational pattern than the other classes that is offered for public speaking. Before each speech, you had to submit a rationale- which is basically a topic overview- and get it approved, then you had to submit an outline and get it approved, then you write the speech. Because you got your work checked off every step of the way it ensured that you were doing the work correctly.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was giving the speeches. I am an extremely introverted person and I hated that I was forced to take this course, but now that I got it over with I am glad that I had to take it! I learned that most people are understanding and not as judgmental as I thought that they were.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Well, if you take this course at South Alabama then you are required to take this course to graduate, but don't stress to much about it! Everybody in the room is in the same boat as you are and more than likely they are not even listening to what you are saying because they are to busy stressing about what they are going to say.
