    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a fair class... mostly. Definitely not an easy route, but you learn a ton

    Course highlights:

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study with friends and work on homework together

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chem 131 was a rigourous course that required numerous hours of studying and 110 percent effort everyday. I loved this course because Stenson teaches at a fast pace, but her lectures are thourough.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things such as drawing Lewis structures, how many orbitals each element has, and the different gas laws.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend doing every homework assignment and staying on top of the assignments. Do the extra credit. Rewrite your notes and most defintely highlight and color in your textbook.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend it if you need it to graduate. On the other hand, I liked the course because of how Dr. Davis teaches. He always tried to associate his lesson to real life experiences. It is what made chemistry more realistic for people that are not that interested in the subject and tend to feel lost on the subject.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was really having a refresher on what I learned in high school in the nineties. Overall the class was more difficult for me because it had been so long since I was in school.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise others to take this class in the morning when you are well rested. It is a large class and longer than others.
