Psychology discusses the very basis of our existence, such as; Development, Thinking, The roles of organs and organ systems.etc. Knowledge of these connections is helpful, especially for students wanting to go into the medical profession. Overall, the subject is very welcoming since it covers a little bit of both chemistry and biology.
As a student interested in the biologies, I found the connections made by psychology fascinating. For example, how the brain's thoughts can affect the working body without physically affecting it or how each of the organs in our body play a role in the thought processes that take place. These connections ultimately serve as insiders to future biology courses and also expand our knowledge.
