    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course that offers applicable knowledge in the field of genetics. Although rigorous it does promote good work ethic, punctuality and hard work. There are also very good discussions during lecture and one learns a lot about the current events that have basis in genetics.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of information from different events and also learned about the different genetic diseases that are prevalent around the world and how they affect the person on a biological level. It was neat learning about your own biology and how you physical looks and health came to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There's quizzes on the reading so it is essential to not slack off on those. Even if you miss a couple, they build up and it could affect your grade. Also the reading is highly important. Ask questions and don't be shy to go to office hours.
