    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

With Professor Hollist, his passion for teaching and Criminology is evident. His main goal is student success. He gives you all the information you need to know for the quizzes, as long as you follow along in class. Even if you don't love Statistics, he makes it easy to learn and understandable. I thoroughly enjoyed this class, a big part of that was due to the professor's input.

    Course highlights:

The highlights from this class would be how Professor Hollist goes over many examples of problems that will be on the quizzes and gives a preview of the homework problem sets. He explains everything in just enough detail and doesn't go overboard. I felt prepared for every quiz. Also, he did not make you memorize formulas, which was extremely helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every single class. Do not focus so much on copying his slides word for word, as he posts the slides online. Focus more on explanations and examples. Write down examples in your notes. Also, do read the text. There will be a few questions on the quizzes that come directly from the text.
