    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an engineer, this class is important for two particular reasons: 1) The ability to understand technical language; and 2) Able to express that knowledge in a clear, concise, and coherent manner.

    Course highlights:

This course covered all aspects in grammar, reports, proposals, status of reports, letter of transmittals, meeting minutes, and lab experiments. What I have learned from this course is how to communicate the subject or process expertise to a variety of audiences in numerous kinds of technical documents or presentations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and understand your technical writing book that is assigned to your class. If being an engineer is your future, then you'll never get away from writing. Therefore, take this class serious and practice writing whenever time is available.
