    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course online, because I thought it would challenge me more than taking it in class. I was in Speech and Debate for four years, so public speaking came easily to me. However, knowing that I would have to post me giving my speech online gave me some fear because someone could watch it multiple times, so if I messed up, they could see it more than once. However, I believe that fear helps you create better things and teaches you more than you already know.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning how to correctly write different types of speeches that I wouldn't normally write. I was challenged to write proposals, and outlines, and not have a speech written out in from of me but to be impromptu with it. I enjoyed conversations with my peers about things I could work on and things I was doing well. I also enjoyed critiquing my colleges and hearing their feedback.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best. Everyone in the class is going through the same type of fear and they ultimately want you to succeed. Continue even after you mess up, and the best way for the audience to not know you messed up is to not show them you messed up.
