    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Rachel Schaffer is very knowledgeable in Sociolinguistics. Not only is she brilliant, but she is funny as well. She does not give you a hard time if you do not understand something. She will do her best to help you understand any concept. If you write down everything that she writes on the board and pay attention during lectures, you will get an A. Dr. Schaffer allows you to use your notes in this course to take the final exam. TAKE NOTES!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the friendliness of Dr. Schaffer and how the class felt like a small family. The classes are smaller at MSU-Billings, so you get a better overall experience. I learned more about language and how it relates to the societies and cultures that it belongs to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes. Always write down what Dr. Schaffer writes on the board. Ask questions if you don't understand. Dr. Schaffer is very approachable and will always do her utmost to help you in her classes.
