    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an excellent course to fulfill your Diversity core at Montana State. It is also very informative about the Native American tribes across Montana.

    Course highlights:

As someone who comes from North Dakota, I did not know much about the Native American tribes in Montana. However, after fulfilling this course, I was able to understand how the tribes in Montana were similar and different to the tribes of North Dakota. It also helped me with my research for a paper I was presenting on at an international conference.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend an interest in the course is the best way to succeed. If you go into this class with a closed mind and an attitude of just wanting to fulfill your Diversity core, you won't do so well in this class. You must also be respectful of the other students within the course, especially if they are Native American. I have heard many comments that weren't respectful to the culture and to individuals within the class, so it is best to keep unwanted comments to yourself. Also, it is important to form groups within the class to study on the material; if you have questions, always ask your recitation teacher about it.
