Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is absolutely perfect for learning and utilizing 3-D modeling software. I would recommend this course if you would like to learn how to model and communicate like an engineer. The class also allows for hands-on use of the modeling while maintaining standards of communication and it is a lot of fun.

    Course highlights:

I personally learned how to communicate my design intents better. For example packets were made for each project and I learned how to collaborate with fellow students in order to make these packets understandable. The projects themselves were useful in learning how to work and communicate with others as well as giving me a new perspective of what 3-D modeling can be used for.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is that even if it looks tough new knowledge will be gained from taking this course and you will have a much broader field of knowledge about modeling and communication. Study buddies are really useful too.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is part of the engineering program and it teaches you how to use programs that help with engineering ideas. It is difficult and the biggest thing I can emphasize is do the work ahead of time so you don't have to scramble to get it done.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course is sometimes you build physical models for some of the projects. You learn in the class how to use programs like AutoCAD and Solidworks. You also learn how to build systems to accomplish a desired function.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the work done on time or before so that it isn't a struggle to keep up. There is always time in class for projects, use it. The teacher will help you and save your work regularly so you don't lose it.
