Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is great if you are interested in learning about the environment

    Course highlights:

I learned about how humans impact the planet, especially with Global Warming, and how we can try to make things better

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor provides great study guides at the end of each class PowerPoint - use them! Most of the information can be found in the slides, but some may need to be looked up online. If you use the study guides and actually study you will pass the class with no problem

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you have even an inkling of passion for our environment, this course will blow your mind. The professor highlights some very excellent points about our past and takes immense amounts of time to make sure that everyone understands the concepts. He reviews more background info than what you would expect from a low-level environmental class, but in a way that's clear and concise.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed his sections on how old the earth really is. It helps put into perspective how much humans have impacted in our short span of existence, when in comparison to earths immense geologic history

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, review the lectures because he posts them online, and have friends quiz you on the study questions he provides. If all else fails go ask him questions during his office hours. Oh and did I mention take notes? Not only does it shorten the material you have to review, it also gives your brain another way of remembering the information

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The instructor is fantastic. He makes the class exciting and he is very passionate about what he is teaching. The course itself is also easy if you attend class and put in a little effort.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were touching on a variety of subjects briefly to gain a larger understanding of environmental science as a whole. I learned about environmental science and how it interacts with politics and society.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice I have for this class is to just go to class and be present, as in pay attention and involve yourself in what the instructor is lecturing on. Relate what he is teaching to something personal.
