    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are looking to be a Director of Christian Education, I would hands down recommend this class! Here you will get experience on how to be a DCE and learn with other future DCEs on how to work and obtain stills to make you the best in your field with a caring and loving support system around you constantly!

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course meeting with others who are working with churches and doing what students in this class hope to do one day. I absolutely loved interviewing with a Director of Christian Education who has been working for more than 15 years. This interview was so much more than informational, but inspiring! The DCE I interviewed even emailed my instructor and said “Just had Shannon to our house for dinner and a DCE interview. What a delight. I've done a gazillion of these things over the years, but I was incredibly impressed by her. Keep her under your wing. I thought she was incredibly intuitive and bright. Well organized. We have the opportunity to meet some really good workers at Beautiful Savior. She will have zero problem making the top cut. She would be someone I would want on our team in the future.” This was extremely encouraging and only makes me want to pursue this career more!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take advantage of everything your instructor says! This is something you will use everyday when you are out in your field! Ask questions like your life depends on it, and always strive for excellence!
