    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course because it gives students the opportunity to learn beneficial study strategies for college courses. It may seem repetitive or extremely easy, but if you truly put the time into your work to make it high-quality, you will learn more about yourself than ever imagined.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I am a visual learner and creating mind maps helps me comprehend material better for tests, and for my own personal gain. I prefer to work alone rather than as a group.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always be prepared for class and come ready to learn. Complete all projects and small assignments on time and complete them in a high-quality fashion. Be prepared to have hands-on discussions with your peers and with the professor about your future and strategies in reading, test-taking, studying, and memorization. Do not procrastinate and don't just throw together preschool or kindergarten work.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course allows you to learn about your personality spectrum and learning style in a deeper basis. It is important to take every little assignment seriously, no matter how easy or kindergarten-like it may seem. This course really helps you prepare for college level work and teaches you many strategies for college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton about my learning style. I learned I am intrapersonal, meaning I prefer to work solo as opposed to in study groups. I prefer to recite notes to myself in an isolated area rather than have someone quiz me. My personality spectrum results were organizer and thinker, which totally fits me. Without being organized and able to think critically, I would not have the top of the top grades I have today. The Uniquely Me Project allowed me to reflect on how far I have come as of today, and where I see myself in the future after college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it seriously and do not procrastinate!! you are only doing yourself harm by not taking in these beneficial strategies you need to put to use in college.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

A lot of people complain that the class is not challenging enough and is easy, but it really does allow you to learn more about your own unique self.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about my learning styles. I learn better by myself instead of with groups. I am more of a logical, verbal, and intrapersonal learner. I took a personality spectrum test and learned my highest developed traits were organization and thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take it for granted, you all are at a high advantage. You each will be ahead of the game if you do all assigned modules and activites! Some college students taking this course don't even know as much as me and other NCPA high school students at North High Magnet School do. So be proud of where you are and who you are, and everyone and everything you have to offer to society.
