Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is required for a lot of majors but it's also super helpful whether or not you feel confident in writing. I thought I was a decent writer, but after the course was completed, I definitely saw improvement in my essays!

    Course highlights:

This course helped to improve how I wrote argumentative and research essays. It gives a much better understanding of using and citing outside sources in your writing. Having Mr. Mertins as the instructor helped a lot as well because he always made sure to be as available as possible for students that needed extra help.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The most important thing for students taking the course is to make sure you give yourself enough time during the week to work on your assignments. The class isn't difficult, but it does require a lot of your time since it's based on writing quality. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help or other opinions on your work. It definitely improves your writing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is down to earth and encourages students to find their voice through writing.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to create annotated bibliographies and APA style research papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Show up to every class so you do not lose points. Professor Snelling does not take late work and does not give you credit unless you are in class. All tests are in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because this professor challenges your ability to think outside the box, and when I say that to open your answer to more of a broaden field of thinking on many different topics especially when writing papers.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge that there is more to just what answer you give your instructor, but back it up with something you answer with. The highlights of this course was professor silkman his self he open your mind to different answers and what other possibilities it can be instead of just one thing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading assignments he will challenge your brain and make sure you understand what you have read. I also recommend that you read your syllabus that is your best friend, and when you don't understand ask questions.
