    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a thorough course over microbiology, including hematology and virology. The lab contained information over hematology and virology and included looking in to the microscope to identify pathogens and white blood cells.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was learning all about the microbial side of Biology. In the lab we did tests on our blood to determine blood type, see what types of white blood cells we had {I had the only basophil in the course!}. We fermented wine and beer. We tested our blood types for any type pathogens. It was an excellent course and I loved learning about all the different diseases of the body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take time to understand the material. Study for the course thoroughly, and put a lot of effort in to the lab. Always attend class on time and study for the pop quizzes! They make up most of the courses points!
