Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ayanna's course is difficult and demanding, but I absolutely loved it. I have met some of my best friends in this class because she focuses so much on group work, and I actually learned a lot about public speaking.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of confidence from this course because of the public speaking aspect, but I also gained a lot of good research tools and practice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

She knows what she wants and as long as you do it just as she asks, you'll get an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is fun and easy going. If you are the nervous type and are not fond of speaking in front of crowds, this is the class for you. Sana provides both the tools and the atmosphere you need to succeed. Just put in the work and you'll get the grade and the experience you want. No matter your temperament, I would highly suggest taking this class. You will use the skills learned everywhere you go.

    Course highlights:

I learned the value of rehearsal and preparation. It truly improves the quality of one's presentation. I learned that I am indeed a confident and talented speaker. Reading the book just enhanced what skills I already possessed. Discovering both of these things was of tremendous value to me.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Listen to the teacher. Talk only when your hand is raised. (otherwise nothing will get done) and be yourself. There is no need to be nervous. You are not giving a speech. You are a director, a creator presenting your own script and take on the world.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because my professor really helped everyone in the class feel comfortable with each other, and feel confident in speaking in front of each other. She is a really amazing teacher and person.

    Course highlights:

I now feel an excited and anxious nervousness when I go to speak in front of people, but before this class I mostly felt scared, and I would freak myself out all the time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work. Do not procrastinate, and make sure you practice your speeches and you will be fine. Also always try to do your speech on the first day, so that you can sit back and listen to everyone else's speeches without thinking about how your own is going to go.
