Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this class, because I love to read short stories and poems and further explore what they mean. I also loved expanding my vocabulary.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to really break poems apart, line by line in order to help me gain a better understanding of the poem. That was the best thing for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always read the stories, never try to take the easy way out. I promise you will benefit way more from doing the readings.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took English 102 at Snead State Community College and am just now about to be done with my mini semester online. This course was great to have been an online class, and the instructor is very good about working with you and helping you to get your assignments done. This makes for such a successful grade in this course.

    Course highlights:

Each week, we read different genres ranging from poems to plays to novels. We also have 4-5 mini essays. I gained so much knowledge about my writing and how to write better going into a university when I graduate. This class was very informative, also, about analyzing poems and better understanding plays and novels.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend buying the materials you need for class. If you depend on anything other than the Petrine's Literature Book, you will not get as much out of this class! Also, stay up to date with you work. Even though it is online, you still have due dates!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Patricia Bates was the best teacher I believe I have ever had. She knows how to get the attention of students with the task at hand.

    Course highlights:

English 102 is not a complex course, however I learned various amounts of information on English, composition, and comprehension.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have fun. I found the class much easier to enjoy when you take the information being learned and relate it to what makes you happy.
