Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course because it opened my eyes as to how we observe the workings and social behaviors of other cultures, and I was able to understand how the position of the anthropologist affects the nature of their work through reading articles and books of past anthropologists. I also was able to learn about how anthropology, a relatively new field, has developed over the past century.
One of the highlights of this course was performing anthropological work on a group we were familiar with. In doing this, we had to describe the workings of a group objectively, which made ordinary things sound strange. It showed how the position of ethnographers is important in making observations, and it was a fun and interesting activity.
