Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a very fast paced course that covers many topics. It doesn't go that in depth, but introduces us to many important topics biology. There aren't many assignments, but the ones assigned are small and manageable.

    Course highlights:

The lab for this course helped us gain hands on experience and helped us meet individuals for study groups. It was a much smaller class where you could ask questions and get individual assistance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best. Trying in any course makes it much easier to enjoy and get the most out of it. Keep up on the study questions, because these are mainly what the tests are composed of. He lays out what each test will cover very clearly and helps us succeed. The professor wants us to do well, and does a lot to get us there.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only is the class interesting, but it really helps to explain processes the in humans, animals, plants, etc. that help the world stay alive and thrive! You never really think about the little things that regulate our bodies, and it's so cool to get to learn all about it.

    Course highlights:

I think my favorite part of this course was being able to take single ideas and processes and add them together to understand a working whole. The most interesting part of this course was learning about the evolution of venom in different animals and insects.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend lecture! Everything covered in lecture is game for the tests. Not only that, but they help you answer the Study Questions, and those are a huge part of your grade, plus they work as extra review for exams.
