    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. DeLong is clearly passionate about his subject and encourages participation, breaking up what is otherwise simply a long lecture.

    Course highlights:

His lectures often had videos showing the predation in nature which were entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class -- everything rested on is in the lectures and what he says in class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

course is really interesting, grading is done extremely badly by the TA's though. You must come to class. you will not likely pass without coming.

    Course highlights:

goes over Mendelian genetics, Meiosis, then stuff that can go wrong with genes, regulation, then population genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

come to class, he uses the same questions over and over again every year for the homework. do not resort to simply googling the questions. actually solve them first then check with google. the grading is done terribly by the TA's. go over all your answers and check the book so you can get points back. even then though after a regrade they still don't do a very good job and give people with the same answers, literally verbatim different points.
