This class was tough.
It is a necessary course for Biochemistry majors. Dr. Roston makes it fun and interactive despite the large class size and she always has an upbeat attitude to make it easier to remain engaged.
I learned about protein structures and reaction mechanics. The focus of the course was on metabolic processes, mainly the breakdown of food into energy and materials necessary for life. We went over the Electron Transport Chain, Glycolysis, protein, lipid and carbohydrate breakdown, photosynthesis, etc.

Advice for students:
Read the textbook. It is difficult and long, but helpful. This course is not easy, although it is interesting.
