    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very challenging course. You will learn a lot in it, but know that you have to do a lot of studying. The lab definitely helps, although it doesn't always line up and then that makes the lab more difficult to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

I loved the subject material and how in depth we went. I didn't think I would learn too much in this class as I had taken anatomy and physiology in high school and I felt well prepared, but it proved me wrong. I took the class online, and I loved the flexibility of being able to do the modules on my schedule.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The lab is probably the hardest part. Do go in to office hours, and ask as many questions as you can there, and in lab. Rewatch the podcasts for the labs, and if you have access to the modules for the class, rewatch those as well. This is not a class that you can procrastinate in. Studying the night before will not cut it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course because it is fast paced and full of material that is important for science majors to know, but also so interesting. You learn so much and I still recall things I learned from Dr. Bachmann!

    Course highlights:

I gained lots of knowledge about how the body works, but I also gained great notetaking experience. Dr. Bachmann moved quickly and keeps you on your toes. The homework load was also heavy, but it was only completely beneficial.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to you is to learn to take notes on your computer for this course. I am always a preferred handwritten notetaker, but she moves very fast and you absolutely have to keep up. Always review your notes so everything stays fresh in your mind.
