Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It opened up my mind so much to society and how the world works. It expanded my understanding of why people act a certain way and how everyone's background affect how they behave in life.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of things from this course that I will take with me forever. The most important thing I learned is the difference between gender and sex. Gender what an individual identifies as, and sex is the organs you are born with. I just loved being knowledgeable of this especially in this time in our history when gender and sex are such a hot topic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. Going to class will be your #1 tool to success. Being open minded and trying to understand what the professor is trying to teach you and apply in your head will help you get the most out of the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would be hesitant to recommend this course with this professor because when I took it the -only- things that we got graded on were the midterm and final. We didn't take any quizzes, there was no assigned homework, and the class was just a lecture. With all of that the professor is a good teacher, he is interesting and explains things well so it's not the professor that makes me not want to recommend this course but rather the class structure.

    Course highlights:

The professor was funny and interesting. He came from a police background so he speaks from experience and often correlates the material with his own experiences. I learned a lot about the inner workings of police and law.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only reason I personally didn't care for this course with this professor is because there was only two grades for the entire semester. I found that to be too difficult for me but if you're a person who is okay with just studying without supporting material or if you're confident you'll do well on the midterm and final then taking this course would be fine. It will require you to take a lot of personal time studying and checking with the professor on material guidelines.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. Even though it is hard this class will help with all future criminal justice classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the Justice system. But most importantly I learned how to study for college classes, and how to prepare for difficult classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material! Everyday put a little bit more emphasis on studying and really understanding the material you will be quizzed on.
