Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn so much in such little time about intricate and interesting art that defines the way we look at the world. The professor does a great job lecturing while keeping the students engaged.

    Course highlights:

I learned alot about art and what it meant to the people and era of time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

No doubt make a powerpoint slide show to help you study! I got A's on all three of my tests by putting pictures to what we were learning in class. Pictures are CRUCIAL.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class definitely gives you a good base of knowledge for art history in general, however I wish we had sped through some of the Renaissance era stuff, etc, more quickly because we barely got any time to learn about anything even moderately contemporary.

    Course highlights:

I learned to recognize many artists simply by their styles, so now I can look at a painting and say "oh that's a Rembrandt" even if I've never seen it before and my friends at the yacht club all applaud at how cultured I am.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You can skip this class, but it's easier if you just go to it. Even if you nap through it you can still absorb some stuff.
