    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There are two professors for this course at UNO and Dr. Davis is definitely the tougher of the two, however do not let this scare you away! He is an awesome professor, he wants you to pass, and you will if you just pay attention!

    Course highlights:

I finally understood the inner workings of the cell. Dr. Davis does such a good job explaining everything. The course starts off as a review of Bio 1, then moves on to review Genetics, from there we are supposed to get into cancer biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention the whole time! This class is only once a week and he will lecture for the full 2.5 hours every week so do not expect to get out of class early. Dr. Davis gives a quiz every week, unless there is a test, so be prepared for the quiz. He will then use some quiz questions on the test. There are no assignments in this class to help buffer your grade so be sure to do well on the quizzes. It is helpful to have the powerpoint up during lecture in case he goes too fast and you need to go back.
