    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a required statistics course for psychology majors. It's one of the more difficult classes, but you get a lot of useful knowledge from it.

    Course highlights:

The best knowledge I obtained from this course was basic SPSS functions, which I now use everyday as a graduate student.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Everybody thinks they don't need to read the textbook, but that is how I passed tests in this course. You may be doing math, but by reading you can have a deeper understanding of the material, which helps you to remember those long formulas better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very good course to understand statistics in the phycological sciences. Nice material and easy to understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned about variables and population. How to do different kinds of test for statistics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the notes and understand the material. Use the teaching assistant if there is one if there is something you do not understand. If you keep quiet you will have a very hard time in this class.
