    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a decent introductory course. It was a required course for me, and this particular professor treated it like an intro course. I have had teachers who act like their entire class is majoring in the subject, and that's not good for a history course. He was focused on the story and the ideas more than the dates of events. His tests are fairly easy if you study. He's a very good speaker so even taking it as a night class was okay because he made it easy to become engaged in the story.

    Course highlights:

I honestly don't remember much about what I learned in the course. However, I am not good at history and I don't really care for it. However, I could probably fake it through a conversation because of this class, and I know a lot more about the Roman empire, Alexandria, and things like that. We also spent quite a bit of time learning about different religions such as Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism, and other lesser known religions. This course was a very good introductory course. There was enough for the people who like history, but not too much where the rest of us were left in the dust.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study!!!!!! He won't try to trick you and he'll even help you if you ask him during a test, but your only grades are a couple of quizzes and tests, so you have to know your stuff when you take them.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

World Civ 1 is a great class to take as a gen ed, and it might even change your mind about your major, or you might even pick up a minor!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the ancient civilizations that we barely covered in high school, and saw how these events connected through time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take notes, and review them before the exams, it's easy to mix up dates and rulers

    Advice for students:

I did not get an understanding in this class. SO I have changed my major. Good luck to who ever takes him.
