    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking sociology. Even I learned how think like sociologist. Taking the Sociology class it made me think about thing everything in a different matter. In my mind it was interesting to learn Sociology. Sociology you learn about topics that just very hard to talk about like race.

    Course highlights:

Obviously, I learned that Sociology is the study of people in groups. We learned about how gender was socially constructed. We figured out gender is socially constructed because its the way that society wants men and women to behave.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

if you are gonna takes notes do not write everything down. Try different note styles that work for you. Study for test and if you get a study guide answer all the questions. Use the study guide to study the questions and answers it might be on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Highly informative, but presented in a way that keeps you interested. This class was what motivated me to choose this major.

    Course highlights:

There was a lot of discussions in which brought out personal perspectives from all students. We were highly encouraged to speak our mind and share our thoughts.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You can skim the course texts, just be ready to talk in class. Even for those who are shy, it will be very interesting to just talk.
