This class was tough.
This class was very challenging because it requires understanding new concepts and using math to apply them. However, Dr. Conrad is an excellent professor with the ability to explain difficult concepts in the most simple manner possible.
This course taught me about basic atomic structure and composition. I also learned about how the elements of the periodic table relate to each other and how to use their atomic numbers and masses in context. We did a lot of with converting from moles to moles, liters, molecules, grams, and units of pressure.

Advice for students:
I would be prepared to do chemistry problems every day because the more that you work through, the better you will understand the material. I would keep an organized notebook and review it before each class period.
