    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sra. Aleman is a very lively and upbeat teacher that finds a way to make class interesting. This class also helped my confidence when it comes to speaking Spanish. If any student is worried that this class with be too difficult for them, don't worry Sra. Aleman will help you get on the same page as the rest of the class.

    Course highlights:

This class really opened my eye to the different view of subjects to usually spoken about in class. For example, we learned about the death penalty, same sex marriage and many ideas about immigration. The highlight of the course was the movie Volver. This flim changed my perspective of Spanish films and the roles of women in them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into class ready to discuss and ready to share your opinions. This class would not have been as enjoyable had other students not been ready to lean each class time. Also, even though this class is a 200 level Spanish class I was able to find success in it only with Spanish experience I found though my four years of high school.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is very beneficial and helps to learn Spanish, I just did not like the teacher and how she taught this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were coming out of your comfort zone and pushing yourself to learn. I learned a lot of new vocabulary and the culture more.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and review every day and put your all into it. Do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone it helps.
