Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I would recommend it because you learn a lot about the legal aspects of being a teacher. You learn your rights as a teacher and as a students which is very important.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many legal cases that changed the education system.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and don't rush through assignments. This class does take up a lot of time.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Warby was a great professor! He was very knowledgable about the subject that he was teaching. He was a fair grader. He responded to emails and questions promptly. Highly recommend taking this class with Dr. Warby if you're an education major.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different school laws and was able to write case studies about potential lawsuits. It is a class that will help me with my major and future career.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I took a fast track class, so it requires a lot of discipline. If you keep up with your work, the teacher was a fair grader and responded quickly. It was an enjoyable course. If you take it, be prepared for a lot of work, but it's reasonable for a college course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The book for this class is densely packed but highly informative and a great read. It's fascinating to see how the judicial system works and to relate cases to specific situations.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn the first 14 Amendments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook cover to cover. It's impossible to get by without it.
