    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This biology class is very informative and every class is a different topic so it goes in a very fast pace.

    Course highlights:

I've gained all the information of the basic needs of understanding in biology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is tough so you will definitely need at least 10 hours of studying and comprehension. So I recommend to go to tutoring and SI unit classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor cares about his students and provides study guides which can be used to study before every exam.

    Course highlights:

Study guides were easy to fill out by using the book and class notes. I learned a lot by reading the book.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study a lot, this class is just an introduction to biology, so if you're expecting to go into the A&P level, this will be good for practice and improvement of test taking skills.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Her lectures were very clear and informative. I always came out laughing and having enjoyed myself in her after some discussion on the topic for that week. She is incredibly sweet and genuinely cares about her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned many different concepts in Biology. What really struck a cord with me was the fact that she applied most of the material to the real word. It pin pointed some issues and concerns that I had never thought about! I remember when she was teaching us about how molecular shape can change an item completely. An example she use was that diamonds and the graphite in pencil are both made of carbon, yet the structure of the carbon changes the properties!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure to watch many videos. Youtube is your best friend in this class. I especially liked the Amoeba sisters because they covered almost all the topics we went over in extremely clear and understandable way that was funny and engaging. I also recommend going in during her office hours to ask questions. She explains things even better one on one.
