Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a specialized course and not required for an Accounting degree. More Not-for-Profit accountants are necessary as the current environment is totally volunteer. Most individuals handling organizations have very little bookkeeping training and no fund accounting experience at all.

    Course highlights:

Government and Not-for-Profit organizations are a part of our society. It is a niche that is best served by skilled accountants that are passionate about a cause. This cannot only be a great career but will help you serve your community or cause on a part-time basis pro bono.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You will already have the basic accounting and bookkeeping skills to take this class. It is an elective and requires a lot less than most accounting classes as far as workload. Consider taking this class if you have a very large course load and need a meaningful elective.
