    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She's a scattered professor, and she talks way to fast

    Course highlights:

Honestly I didn't learn much. This class is lecture heavy and the information that she was teaching was boring to me. I tried very hard to retain whatever she was saying. I went into office hours, group study sessions, and spent countless hours doing homework and reteaching myself the lectures

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always ask for help and go into her office hours

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course load is heavy at first but Professor Perri is always around to go over exam results and homework assignments. Any prospective business major should enjoy this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of accounting like balance sheets, income statements and GAAP rules. The best part was how available the teacher was outside of class because I had several professors at RCC would just didn't have office times and that could have helped before an exam.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be consistent with the learning modules and homework assignments and try to set a habit of coming in for tutoring before test days.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Originally, I failed this class. I thought that it was easy and because the notes were all online, I did not actually have to go to class. I am currently retaking the class this semester and am an A student. I have not missed a single class period and take advantage of Professor Perri's office hours and the Beta Alpha Psi accounting fraternity's tutoring services. Accounting can be a hard class for people who do not take the course seriously, and you have to dedicate your time to it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that feeling you get when you are taking the exam and know you are doing it correctly. Especially for me, that feeling of knowing I understood the material in a particularly hard class was amazing. I learned more about business and how accounting drives all companies. I also learned a lot about myself and what I need to do in order to ace a class.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To those who are considering this course, please dedicate your time to the workload. If you do not understand something, go to office hours or the accounting fraternity. It may seem intimidating, but everyone understands that the material is difficult. After every exam, go review the test with Professor Perry so you can better identify your problem areas.
