    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The COLAE 100 course is an extremely useful course for people just coming into college. It was through this course that I figured out what I wanted to do, and it was the same for other! I had no idea what I wanted pursue. There were even others in the class that declared their majors. By the end of the course, everyone had a goal. I knew I wanted to go into Social Work, some changed their majors, and other were reinforced that they choose the correct path for themselves.

    Course highlights:

The first big plus of this course was exploring all the different majors at UNLV. We went through all the majors, what they entailed, and the starting process. It was through this process that I decided to declare Social Work as my major. Second, you learn all he basics of college life! Part of this course is introducing you on the various resources available to you, how to access, and how to use them. Third, the course is just plain fun! You're getting your feet wet a little at a time so as not to get overwhelmed in a fun and productive way. Overall, this course is awesome.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice-wise, come to class and participate. This two things are all you really need to do in this course to learn, and the professor makes even this part easy to do.
