Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you learn how a business works. You learn how to work with everyone in the class as if it were a real business.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of team work and time management. Our professor gave us many projects in which we had to fit into our schedule and learn how to work with everyone in the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Participation is key when you are in this class. Business involves a lot of interaction and communication therefore, the professor wants to see that out of you. Don't be afraid to speak up, no idea is too dumb. Also don't be afraid to be a leader. People who stand out get rewarded.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would take this class again as well as with the same professor just because it was a fun class and I learned a lot about business in it. The instructor made the class fun by doing class actives and playing music before class started. It was a class I never had before and really enjoyed it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about business as well as learning skills that would and will help me during my years in college. We also did a class project which was helping homeless students where we raised money for them, helped at the homeless center, and helped homeless students that were seniors in high school with their college application to UNLV.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you pay attention in class as well as do your work on time you will do fine in the class. The class assignments are explained in detail on syllabus as well as professor explains them during lecture.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class made me stay in college. Going through my first year of college was tough. I wasn't comfortable, and everything was just so new to me, but this class gave me a reason to stay, try new things, and love my major. We worked in a lot of group projects, had beneficial and funny discussions, and did things that helped us to prepare for our other classes.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was the friends that I've made. With the group projects that our professor put us in, I made instant friends. It was fairly awkward being forced to work in a group of stranger, but after about 2 weeks, we all became really good friends. We go to the movies with each other, shopping, and have daily skype calls. The friends that you make in this class will be some of your closest friends.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice that I would give is to always show up to class. Attendance is a key factor in any class. You don't show up, you don't learn, and you miss out on a lot of cool and informative lectures. Another tip is to always give it your all. This class is solely on effort. He's gonna expect a lot from you in this class, and you should do your best. All that he asks for is that you try.
