Pretty easy, overall.
Prof. Campbell made the course as entertaining and engaging as a lecture course could be. The readings covered a wide spectrum of subfields, and included contemporary extensions of prominent theories, such as Goffman's theory of dramaturgy. The workload was more than manageable.
I gained some insight into how varied the subfields of the discipline can be. I also learned about the sociological approach to extending social theory empirically. I appreciated that we had full books assigned as these were more engaging than a broader survey course with more numerous, shorter readings.
